Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) Sea To Summit
This exciting adventure tackles all terrains as you journey literally from Sea to Summit! Starting in Caernarfon on the Menai Strait across from Anglesey, you will cycle, trek and kayak in the wildness of Wales and stand on the highest peak in England & Wales - Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in its native Welsh language) at 1,085m.
You don’t have to be a pro at cycling or kayaking to conquer this fantastic route in the epic Snowdonia landscape - just an adventurous spirit and immerse yourself in one of the UK's greatest adventure playgrounds. It's a fantastic weekend away that will leave you amazed at everything you've achieved.
Jurassic Coast Weekend
Stretching between Old Harry Rocks in Dorset, to Orcombe Point in East Devon, the Jurassic Coast – England’s first Natural World Heritage Site – is the most geologically diverse coastline in the world.
Over two days, you will trek a section of approx. 23 miles, taking in some of the Jurassic Coast's most dramatic scenery, including the renowned natural stone archway of Durdle Door and beautiful circular Lulworth Cove.
Lands End to John O’Groats Cycle
Cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats, the furthest possible distance in the British Isles, is a classic challenge that many dream of. Starting at Land’s End on the south-westerly tip of England, you will pedal your way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland, via lochs and the Highlands to the North Coast and John O’Groats.
In all you will cover just over 1000 miles, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countryside in the British Isles. This is a tough challenge but a fabulous way to see the country, and one of the most rewarding things you will ever do!
Great Wall of China Trek
One of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Great Wall of China has to be the ultimate building project the world has ever known; constructed by human hands over 2000 years ago, it stretches across this hilly region with long spurs and watch-towers often disappearing into the mists.
Our trek is very varied, as we pass through woodland and terraced farmland, and follow the contours of the beautiful hills and mountains in remote areas north of Beijing. We follow old sections of the Great Wall, as well as restored sections with smooth flagstones and lots of steps!
Trek Japan
Discover Japan's natural beauty as you trek among volcanic peaks, lust forests and multi-coloured lakes.
You will be based in the Bandai area, a scenic region of volcanic mountains rising above lush green forests, traditional rice-fields, and stunning multi-coloured lakes. You will tackle three of these volcanic peaks – including Mount Bandai (1816m), known as a ‘mountain full of treasures’ in a traditional Japanese folk song – where your efforts on the steep slopes are rewarded with fabulous views over volcanic craters and the surrounding landscapes. Interspersed with the most challenging days are gentler hikes discovering the colourful variety of the lowlands.
Arctic Adventure
The perfect antidote to a cold, wet British winter is a cold, dry Arctic adventure! Away from the crowds, enjoy mesmerisingly peaceful scenes of frozen lakes and snow-covered pine and spruce forests as you explore the silent wilderness.
You’ll be snow-shoeing to a remote overnight cabin, pushing yourselves in this harsh but compelling environment, and you’ll also try husky-sledding and, time and conditions allowing, some cross-country skiing. Staying in traditional log cabins in the woods, you can relax in Finnish saunas and enjoy the incredible night skies. If you’re lucky you’ll also see the captivating dance of the Northern Lights.
